In Exodus 15, Moses is thanking the Lord that the Children of Israel had been able to cross the Red Sea on dry land. They had walked to the wilderness of Shur and now there was no water. First too much water, now not enough water! Is this Love’s way, God’s way, of doing things? __ They were experiencing obstacle and lack because the people were not yet admitting that the Lord had done all things for their ancestors Jacob and Joseph and would do all things for them if (IF) they would just listen to SEEE’s voice and do what is right. Again the Lord promised to help, saying: I am the Lord that ______¬¬¬____ ______. Ex. 15: 26. (Remember? God is Father – Mother, but is not a male or a female so we will often refer to God as SEEE instead of He).
How many more times would the Lord God show SEEE-self (Him/Her Self) as Love? ________
About 600 years after Moses, the prophet Jeremiah is showing the people how the Lord God continues to appear as Love: The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with__________________ have I drawn thee. Jer. 31: 3.
And what more will Love do? I will set up _____________ over them which shall feed them: and they shall _______ no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, saith the Lord. Jer. 23: 4. What opposes love is not just hate but also fear, dismay, and lack.
King David saw a beautiful woman and wanted her for his wife. Bathsheba was already married, but David took her anyway and had her husband, Uriah, killed. II Sam. 11. Is it all right to hurt others in order to get what you really love? _____ Was it ‘love’ David was feeling, or just selfish desire? ____________. Why didn’t the Lord God Love kill David for killing Uriah?
God had great work for David to do, but first David needed to r________ and have a change of heart. Truth

Now tell the truth! Is this one of the first lessons parents teach their children? ______. Why?
The collection of writings that would become the first book of the Bible is the book of ___________. The writings are presented as the ___________ of Solomon. (This book and Psalms were started about 100 years before the book of Genesis). Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: (3:3); My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are ______ unto those that find them, and _________ to all their flesh. (4: 20-22). Pretend you are sharing this wisdom with children. How will it sound in your words?

It was not right (true) that he was helpless. Was it Jesus’ words that healed the sick man? ______. Right is radical. Every time we are knowing the truth, we are worshipping (thanking) God and blessing our neighbors as well as ourselves. That is such an important expectation in Christian Science that many churches have that command and promise written on the wall. Is it written on the wall of our church? ______
Do you think everyone wants enlarged individuality, a wider sphere of thought and action, a more expansive love, a higher and more permanent peace? _____ Christian Science, in line with the words and works of Christ Jesus, shows how to have these blessings: This scientific sense of being, forsaking matter for Spirit, by no means suggests man's absorption into Deity and the loss of his identity, but confers upon man enlarged individuality, a wider sphere of thought and action, a more expansive love, a higher and more permanent peace. SH 265: 10.
It may seem that some people have a strong individuality and yet they discard God. But God Truth is not moved from its loving purpose to be acknowledged as the only light in every consciousness, and Truth is always the victor! SH 380: 4.
Through Christian Science we know this about the Christ: Christ is the true idea voicing good, the divine message from God to men speaking to the human consciousness. SH 332: 9:
Jesus was faithful to his identity, the Christ. He says to all mankind, know me, follow me, do the works that I do by learning the Science (provability) of Christliness. That Science is explained in a book named _____________________________________.

Life

The Psalmist says …the Lord commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.
Ps. 133: 3. If the blessing is ‘life for evermore,’ why are there cemeteries in this city and every city?
In Moses’ last long speech to the Children of Israel, he told them that the Lord would give them total success and safety ____ they would keep the Commandments, pray, and listen only to him. What is that little two-letter word? Deut. 28: 2, 9, 11. 12. Have your parents ever said, __ you finish your assignment, then you can play games or watch television? ____
The tempter, Satan, used this word three times when attempting to get Jesus to bow down to seee, Matt. 4. Is if an important word to watch out for? _____
Christian Science tells us, Ask yourself: Am I living the life that approaches the supreme good?
Am I demonstrating the healing power of Truth and Love? ___ ___ then the way will grow brighter "unto the perfect day." Your fruits will prove what the understanding of God brings to man. SH 496: 9.
Is God the source of all blessing? ____ Can you also be a blessing?____ How?
During the reign of King Ahab, there was famine instead of abundance. Had the Lord stopped providing abundance? ___ The king and queen required the people to worship i______. Elijah the prophet said that this false leadership, turning the people away from the sustaining infinite, expressed itself as f________. Ahab said that Elijah was causing the famine! So there was a great contest between the 450 prophets of Baal and Elijah, prophet of the one God. Baal’s prophets could not get their god to prove he had power. Why did they fail? ______________ Elijah knew that SEEE* {God} was always ready to prove the one source of power so SEEE sent f______ to consume the water-soaked altar. Then the people said the Lord, he is the God.
I Kings 18: 39.
* SEEE might be a good pronoun for God. God is Father – Mother but God is not a male or a female. Maybe SEEE could be a good gender-free pronoun for God.
During the famine, the Lord told Elijah that the widow of Zarephath would prepare his meals, and she did. Why is it significant that she was a widow?
I Kings 17: 8-16.
Later, the widow’s son died – there was no breath left in him. What happened after Elijah prayed? I Kings 17: 17-24.
Is there a prophet today, doing the same good works that Elijah and Elisha did? ________
Mary Baker Eddy explains that ‘prophecy’ is Christian Science with which can be discerned the spiritual fact of whatever the material senses behold; the basis of immortality. SH 585: 9. ‘Apparent discord’ is the result of the people’s i________ of ______ and the r_________ u_________ of Him restores harmony. SH 390: 4-9.
As we have noticed before, our Psalmist says it so well in just a few words: Though I walk {live} in the midst of trouble, ______ ______ revive me. Ps. 138: 7.
Can we obey God and bless mankind through sin? ____ What is sin?
It is a sin to believe that aught {anything} can ___________ omnipotent and eternal _______, and this Life must be brought to light by the understanding that there is no death, as well as by other graces of Spirit. SH 428: 31.
We cannot serve two masters nor perceive divine Science with the material senses.

How would you explain the difference between popular theology and revealed religion?
One time Jesus took Peter, James, and John up into a high mountain and there Jesus was transfigured. Perhaps he seemed more like a shining than a man of flesh. Many religions consider God to be a mystery, but they pray to ‘the Trinity--- in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.’ The ‘Divine trinity’ in Christian Science is described this way: Life, Truth, and Love constitute the triune Person called God, — that is, the triply divine Principle, Love. They represent a trinity in unity, three in one, — the same in essence, though multiform in office: God the Father-Mother; Christ the spiritual idea of sonship; divine Science or the Holy Comforter. These three express in divine Science the threefold, essential nature of the infinite. SH 331: 26. Are you an expression of the ‘Divine trinity’? ______
Before I discovered Science and Health, I thought I was a good Christian because I attended Sunday School and church and I valued the moral qualities of humanity, honesty, affection, compassion, hope, faith, meekness, temperance, SH 115: 26. No one ever expected me to ‘know and understand God.’ I suppose I had a personal sense of God and of man’s capabilities {which} necessarily limits faith and hinders spiritual understanding. SH 312: 23. Does God want us to know Him? ___ The Spirit of the Lord – God – insists that we know SEEE (a gender free pronoun for God because God is not a male).
