I think many people (including me) would like to accept and feel dominion over s____, d_____, and d_____. Did Christ Jesus have dominion over these? ____. He intended us to have it too because he said ‘rise up’ to the person who could not stand.
If I accept dominion over ______, the other two (d______ and d______) will fade away and disappear. SH 426: 28-29. It’s a sin to believe you have a m_____ of your own. It’s a sin to believe you can choose and know something God did not make, namely e______. Through Christian Science, the true story of creation is being proved true again, every day. So why would anyone still believe the lie? It’s a trick. Your student dictionary says that a trick is an action intended to d________ or c________. Man does not have such an intention, but the s_________ does. Serpent is a symbol for a deceiving, cheating ‘thought’ trying to harm you. The spiritual thinker says STOP RIGHT THERE. God is good; God is Mind; therefore mind is good. There is no evil mind that can invent s_____, d______, and d______. I am so glad this is true! I give thanks for this fact every day, and remember it when the lie wears a disguise that looks like truth.
When sin, disease, and death seem real to you, what can you do?
You can stand up (mentally) and say to material sense you are not good, therefore, you are not real. Truth is telling me what is good and real, and the light of this telling pierces the mist you are hiding in.
Science and Health says that it is wisdom that warns man not to be fooled by the testimony of error… SH 481: 12-15. Error is m________ s________. Can I ask of every thought and event every day ‘did God send this’? ___. If God did not send it, I can say………………..

Was she sure or unsure about the answer? _____________________
In 1866, Mary Baker Eddy’s friends thought she was about to die. She asked for her Bible and opened it to Matthew 9, which tells about Jesus healing a paralyzed man. Suddenly she realized the presence of that same haling power and she too was completely healed. She asked herself, how did this happen? She knew the answer was in the Bible so she studied it deeply for three years. Out of that study came the textbook that helps all of us find healing in the Bible. Truth
Truth 7-25-10 Sara Lincoln
Now tell the truth! Is this one of the first lessons parents teach their children? ______. Why?
The collection of writings that would become the first book of the Bible is the book of ___________. The writings are presented as the ___________ of Solomon. (This book and Psalms were started about 100 years before the book of Genesis). Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: (3:3); My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are ______ unto those that find them, and _________ to all their flesh. (4: 20-22). Pretend you are sharing this wisdom with children. How will it sound in your words?
A person who is h________ seeks the truth. A person who is p_______ likes seees own opinion! The most humble person, ________ ________, looked to M_____ (God) for the understanding that God Good causes and allows only g_____ and requires us to choose only g______ all the time. In Jesus’ parables, he said that we must c_______ good and r_______ what is not good (evil). Let’s talk about the parable in Matt. 13: 47-48. Christian Science shows that Truth is made manifest by its effects upon the human ______ ____ ______ healing sickness and destroying sin. SH 316: 9. What is material sense? Can it know Truth? _____. How is material sense / matter like a paint ball thrown against a wall? Is matter a mind! ____ Only s_________ s_________ can know Truth because it enables one to be h__________, u__________, l__________, and m__________. SH 272: 3. Underline the qualities you know you have. What actions do you take that reveal these qualities?
Many people, including you, know many truths (facts). Is this the same as ‘knowing the Truth’? You accept the truths in The Lord’s Prayer and in the Scientific Statement of Being (SH 468), but you must also know y________ before you can know and help others. SH 453: 14. The truth about myself is that I am … Let’s each make 3 ‘I am’ statements and see what we discover about identity: I am______________...
I am_______________, … I am ________________.
Whoever reaches this point of moral culture and goodness cannot injure others, and must do them good. The greater or lesser ability of a Christian Scientist to discern thought scientifically, depends upon his genuine spirituality. SH 95: 12.
When Jesus healed a paralyzed man, Jesus said Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee. Matt. 9: 2-8. It was not right (just) that he seemed paralyzed. It was not right (true) that he was helpless. Was it Jesus’ words that healed the sick man? ______. Right is radical. The words had a healing effect because Christ Jesus k_____ the truth, l_______ it, and l_______ it. SH 452: 18. What do I do that shows I am knowing, living and loving the truth?
Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. Matt. 16: 24-25. To ‘lose your life’ does not mean ‘to die.’ It means to be_______. Unselfed love means direct contact with _______ ______. SH 192: 30.
The first words in the first chapter in Science and Health declare: The prayer that reforms the sinner and heals the sick is an absolute faith that all things are possible to God, — a spiritual understanding of Him, an __________ ________.

That Source is L____, T____, and L_____, Principle, M______, Soul and Spirit. SH 587. No one can have true identity who looks for it in a dream! Christ Jesus made it clear how we are to find that unique identity: Ye shall know the truth, and the ________ shall make you free – free to be your unique self. John 8: 31-32. Every time we are knowing the truth, we are worshipping (thanking) God and blessing our neighbors as well as ourselves.
